Our Mission
The South Carolina Waterfowl Association exists to enhance and perpetuate our wildlife heritage through education and habitat conservation.

Camp Woodie
Camp Woodie is a residential summer camp for youth ages 7-16. We offer 9, week-long sessions throughout the summer. Our purpose is to pass on the legacy of our outdoor heritage to the next generation through a variety of hands-on outdoor activities delivered by expert instructors and staff.

Camp Leopold
Camp Leopold provides natural resource conservation education programs for students (K-12) throughout South Carolina.
Camp Leopold hosts on-site 1, 2 or 3-day trips, along with our in-school program option. Classes and activities are interactive and designed to cover a wide range of natural resource conservation and environmental topics which meet state and national education standards.

Outdoor Heritage Events
Outdoor Heritage Events provide parent-child weekends throughout the year to promote the tradition of hunting, angling, trapping and recreational shooting sports.Programs are designed to partner with families to make these activities part of their family heritage.
These events include: dove, deer, and duck hunts, fishing, recreational shooting sports, archery, trapping, game cooking, natural resource conservation instruction, outdoor
skills instruction, bass fishing tournaments and family camps.

Gary Dietrich Wildlife Management Apprentice Program
The Gary Dietrich Wildlife Management Apprentice Program is a post-grad program that develops the next generation of qualified wildlife managers who will have a lasting impact on wildlife habitat management and development throughout the United States.
