David Wielicki
Chief Executive Officer
David Wielicki founded the SCWA in 1986 and has been its CEO since. With degrees in Wildlife Management and extensive experience in waterfowl biology, he previously managed 2,000 acres for Ted Turner. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting and fishing with his family while leading SCWA’s strategic planning, fundraising, and habitat development
efforts.

Lou Tocci
Chief Operations Officer
Lou Tocci became the Chief Operating Officer in May, 2025. Prior to that he was on the SCWA Board of Directors for 13 years, serving on the Executive Commitee and as President. Lou's passion for waterfowl takes him all over North America, where he cherishes time spent with family and friends, and making new friends along the way. He is thrilled for the opportunity to align his lifelong passion with a career that allows him to perpetuate our outdoor heritage for future generations through education and conservation programs.
Accounting Department

Jennifer Barwick, Accounting Director
Jennifer Barwick was hired by SCWA in November 2011. While Jennifer grew up as a city girl in Raleigh, NC, she has grown accustomed to the laid-back atmosphere and outdoor lifestyle in Clarendon County, SC. Jennifer originally became involved with SCWA as a volunteer and committee member for the Clarendon Chapter in 2008 and fell in love with the organization and its cause. She is married to Corey Barwick and together they have four children and two grandchildren.

Jason Myers, Accounting Assistant
With over 20 years of diverse professional experience, Jason has developed a well-rounded skill set across multiple industries. He spent 10 years in the hotel industry, where he honed his expertise in customer service, operations, and management. Following that, Jason spent another 10 years as the Director of Human Resources and Administration at a citrus packing facility, overseeing key functions such as staff management, compliance, and organizational efficiency. Holding an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, he now focus on accounting, leveraging his background to bring a strategic and detail-oriented approach to financial management.
Development Department

Hunter James, Development Assistant
Hunter joined the South Carolina Wildlife Association (SCWA) in 2023 as a Development Assistant, bringing a strong background in policy and communication. With a degree in Political Science from Clemson University, he is dedicated to advancing SCWA’s mission. Outside of the office, Hunter is a lifelong hunter and fisherman with a deep passion for the outdoors. His personal connection to nature fuels his professional commitment to preserving South Carolina's rich wildlife heritage and ensuring future generations can experience the great outdoors.

Jonathan Patrick, WEC Programs Director
Jonathan Patrick (JP) joined SCWA in February 2015. A Clarendon County native, he has a deep love for farming and the outdoors. Formerly a Camp Woodie counselor, he holds an Associate’s Degree in Natural Resource Management. JP values SCWA’s mission to preserve natural habitats and educate future generations on environmental stewardship.

Logan Beall, Lead Apprentice
Logan was born and raised in Johns Creek, Georgia and is a graduate from Clemson University with a bachelor of science degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Management. Growing up he, was an avid rock climber and spent summers as a ropes course instructor at summer camps. While at Clemson, he developed a strong passion for hunting and fishing which led him to join the SCWA in March 2023 as a member of the Gary Dietrich Wildlife Apprentice Program. After graduating from the program, he has continued his career at the SCWA to further develop his skills as a wildlife manager and help future members of the program gain those same skills.
Education Department

Jami Lisenby, Camp Leopold Director
Jami was born in Sumter, South Carolina, and grew up in Edgefield before moving to Chesterfield in high school to be closer to family. Coming from a family deeply rooted in hunting, fishing, and shooting sports, she developed a strong appreciation for the outdoors from an early age. While pursuing a degree in Secondary Social Studies at Anderson University, Jami discovered a deep passion for education and the rich history of South Carolina. She spent two summers as a shooting instructor at Camp Woodie, and her journey with the South Carolina Waterfowl Association began after college when she participated in a Heritage Boyd Duck Hunt with her sister. Now, as the Camp Leopold Director, Jami combines her love for conservation, the outdoors, and education to inspire students across the state.

Drake Tindal, Heritage Events Director
Drake, a South Carolina native, earned his associate’s degree from the University of South Carolina. Having been deeply involved in the nutritional field for SCWA alongside his family for most of his life, he brings a wealth of experience to the organization. As Camp Woodie’s Hunter Education Instructor, Drake is passionate about teaching firearm safety and outdoor skills. In the fall of 2020, he also served as an environmental educator for Camp Leopold. Since November 2022, he has held the role of Outdoor Heritage Program Director, where he continues to inspire and educate both adults and children, helping them become confident, knowledgeable, and passionate about the great outdoors.

Gina Crawford, Camp Registrar
Gina is a graduate of Sumter High School and the Sumter County Career Center, where she studied Merchandising and Advertising. She joined our Education Department as our Camp Registrar in February 2024. She came to SCWA with 25 years of experience in various clerical positions. She is responsible for the camp’s administrative and financial operations. She has a pivotal role in maintaining accurate records and facilitating communication between families and camp staff. She and her family love traveling and the outdoors. She and her husband Chris reside in Pinewood, and together they have 3 children.
Fundraising Department

Mac Bagnal, Director of Chapter Development
Mac joined SCWA in 1996 and became Clarendon SCWA Chapter chairman in 2002. His dedication to fundraising and conservation led to his role as Director of Chapter Development in 2004. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting and fishing with his family. Mac supports SCWA’s mission by assisting chapter leaders with fundraising, event planning, and strategic growth.

Emilee Johnson, Fundraising Assistant
Emilee started as the Fundraising Coordinator in April 2025. Emilee grew up hunting with her dad and older brother, and fell in love with the outdoors at a young age. She graduated from Francis Marion University with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science. Because she is so passionate about conservation, she founded and became the first president of the Environmental Science and Studies Club at FMU. Emilee hopes to make her love for conservation contagious as she works with chapters at our fundraising banquets.
Marketing Department

Chandler James, Marketing Director
Chandler has worked in nonprofit marketing for five years. A Clemson University graduate, she discovered SCWA through her husband, an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and plans to carry on the outdoor tradition within their family. Passionate about conservation education, Chandler is dedicated to promoting SCWA’s mission of preserving South Carolina’s outdoor heritage for future generations.

May Rogan, Assistant Marketing Director
May graduated from Clemson University in December of 2024. She has a deep-rooted love for the outdoors, which grew as a camper and CIT at Camp Woodie. After gaining valuable experiences and furthering her education, she is excited to return to SCWA. Driven by a strong belief in SCWA’s mission, May is eager to continue supporting its vision of connecting people to nature and fostering personal growth. With a heartfelt commitment to the transformative power of the outdoors, she looks forward to contributing to this mission and inspiring others, just as she was inspired.

Anslee McDonald, Content Creator
Anslee is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a creative eye and a deep appreciation for the outdoors! Blending her love of design and graphics with her passion for nature, she finds inspiration in the simple beauty of nature. Whether exploring creative projects or enjoying time outside, Anslee brings curiosity, creativity, and heart into everything she does.
