SCWA is excited to announce the Camp Woodie Offshore Tournament will be transitioning from a stand alone tournament to a partnership with the HMY-Viking Megadock Billfishing Tournament. The Megadock Tournament is the premier Governor's Cup event in South Carolina. Proceeds from the July 7-10 tournament in Charleston, SC are donated to local Charities including SCWA and its nationally recognized Camp Woodie summer camp program. This year Camp Woodie will sponsor the youth angler trophy's for the event and will receive proceeds from the event raffle to benefit Camp Woodie. Thanks to Sponsor support from Volvo-Penta and Superior Diesel two boats are also being provided for Camp Woodie Campers to fish during tournament. This partnership will lower the cost of running the tournament resulting in more kids that get to go fishing and increased funding for Camp Woodie fish and wildlife conservation education programs.
