The  Remote Art Program
SCWA Fundraising Program

In the summer of 2003 SCWA launched a new fund-raising event called the REMOTE ART PROGRAM.  Many of you have already seen this program in action and don't even realize it.  If you have been in local banks, grocery stores, hotels, restaurants, and other fine businesses, you have seen framed fine art work displayed on easels for sale.  That's us! Here is how it works.

If you wish to bid on the print, simply fill out the bid slip with the amount you are willing to pay.  Place the bid slip in the box on the easel.  Our Remote Art Reps will visit the site every two weeks to place a different framed print and to collect the bid information from the framed print that was on display for the previous two weeks.  If you are the successful bidder, we will contact you to get your shipping and payment information.

The framed prints on the easels are samples.  Successful bidders will be shipped a new framed print of the identical fine art image, framing, and matting.  There is a $22.00 insured shipping and handling charge added to your bid amount.

If you are interested in having an easel in your place of business, know that we are a non-profit (501 C 3) organization.  An easel is placed in your establishment with a print on which your customers will bid.  The print will be replaced every two weeks by your area sales representative.  SCWA is responsible for contacting the successful bidder and collecting payment.  Nothing is required of you except a space for the easel.  Your business is not liable for any damage or theft of the easel or print.

As a token of our appreciation, you will receive a couples' ticket to your local conservation banquet, recognition in the banquet program, and listing in our quarterly Waterfowl and Wetlands magazine with a circulation of over 4,000.  Your consideration is greatly appreciated.
